He rose, emerged, ascended from the abyss, depths, underworld, a figure, specter, shadow wreathed, adorned, cloaked in ancient, primordial, forgotten power. His followers, disciples, subjects cringed, trembled, swayed before his majesty, presence, might. They whispered legends, tales, myths of his unyielding grip, iron fist, cruel rule, and the terror, fear, awe he inspired, instilled, evoked ran deep, through, across their hearts, souls, minds. He was, had been, would always be the ultimate ruler, tyrant, god-king, and his reign, dominion, control stretched over, throughout, beyond the mortal realm, earthly plane, boundaries of life.

Though her ferocity, Sekhmet could also be a protective force. She was invoked for protection against evil spirits and diseases, and she was believed to have the power to heal both physical and mental wounds.

Her multifaceted nature made her one of the most unique goddesses in the ancient Egyptian pantheon.
